    Type of Memorial

    WMR Reference Number
    68275
    Description
Rectangular tablet with a pedimented top set in a black pattress. There is a cross at the top and the names are listed in three columns in black lettering. The history of this memorial is unclear- a 1920 unveiling is confirmed and this report originally referred to a metal plaque, whereas it is now clearly a marble tablet. It thus seems that the 1920 memorial MAY have been scrapped and replaced in 1925, maybe because it had omitted some of the names which are on the current tablet.
