Description: A Gothic structure with canopy and buttressed columns on each side, giving the appearance of a church window. Memorial tablets are inlaid into faces 1 and 2 of the plinth which stands on a three stepped base.
Inscription: WW1 tablet: In honoured memory of the brave men from Vaynor Parish/ who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918 For our Freedom./ Atgof rhag anghof [Memory from oblivion] WW2 tablet: World War II/ 1939-1945/ Buont farw er ein mwyn [They died for Us]
