FOLLOWING THE OPENING OF THE NEW WITHYBUSH HOSPITAL IN 1977 THE SITE BECAME REDUNDANT. CONSEQUENLTY, THE HOSPITAL WAS DEMOLISHED TO MAKE WAY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSES BY THE HOUSING ASSOCIATION. THE MEMORIAL PLAQUES WERE PLACED IN THE NEW WITHYBUSH HOSPITAL
