    Description
    Memorial with enclosing wall and railing. Memorial has a tapered round shaft with four tall buttresses, topped with a pinnacle. Also featured is an octagonal pedestal with bronze plaques. The memorial is set in Portland stone paving. There is an octagonal boundary wall with two cast-iron gates and four lengths of cast-iron railing. There are a total of seven bronze plaques affixed to the memorial , the first world war plaques of which there are four include the inscription on one and three more which contain the names. The second world war has three further plaques one containing the inscription and two containing the names.

    First World War :- ERECTED BY VOLUNTARY/ SUBSCRIPTIONS IN MEMORY/ OF THOSE WHO FELL IN THE/ GREAT WAR 1914-1919/ REMEMBER WITH THANKSGIVING/ THE TRUE AND FAITHFUL MEN/ WHO IN THESE YEARS OF WAR/ WENT FORTH FROM THIS PARISH/ FOR GOD AND RIGHT./ THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO/ RETURN NOT AGAIN ARE HERE/ INSCRIBED TO BE HONOURED/ FOR EVERMORE./ (Names) Second World War ALSO IN MEMORY OF THOSE/ INSCRIBED ON EITHER SIDE WHO/ GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WORLD WAR/ 1939-1945/ THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD/ AS WE THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD,/ AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM/ NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN/ AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN/ AND IN THE MORNING/ WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.(names)
