Inscription: Y RHYFEL MAWR/ ER COF AM Y GWYR IEUAINC/ O'R GYNULLEIDFA HON/ A RODDES EU BYWYD DROS EU GWLAD/ 1914 1918/(NAMES)/ EU HENWAU'N PERAROGLI SYDD/A'U HUN MOR DAWEL YW. Translation of upper welsh inscription: The big war/in memoryof the young men of this congregation who gave their lives for their country. Loose translation of lower inscription: Their names are as sweet perfume and they are at peace.
