    Description
    Stepped base surmounted by plinth, rusticated granite obelisk and golden ball finial, with flame cresting. Inscription on plaques placed on each side of the base of the obelisk and on the plinth Memorial flanked to the north-west and south-east by partly chained strips of ground. This is set out with low slender bollards of granite and with contemporary lamp standards with wide fluted circular shafts and moulded bases. Each shaft is surmounted by multi ball lamp finials of glass.
