    Modern brick built, c1980's single-storey Village Hall structure replacing a former tin-roofed, wooden Memorial Hall, built after the Great War to commemorate all who fought or fell in that war. No internal memorial boards, tablets or plaques. Sign by front door signifies building as "Shawell Memorial Hall". Below the original plaque is a newer landscape oriented plaque with inscriptions, names, personal histories and other details of those who fell in the Great War.
