Description: A rectangular marble tablet is positioned on the ground within a low walled area; this relates to the Parish of Herongate and Ingrave. The area within the wall is covered by small pieces of slate. Immediately behind the tablet is a Latin Cross mounted on a square base; this relates to the Men of East Horndon. Both memorials are situated within the grounds of the Methodist Church
