    Description
    An album of 38 leaves with six photographs to the page. It has a maroon binding with a plain line gilt embossing and worn gilt edges to the pages. No lettering on the cover. A digital copy of the same dimensions and binding is also kept in the library: a smaller copy of the album has been made and is displayed in a case near the original Corridor of Remembrance.

    415 Old Tonbridgians and 3 Masters died in the Great War. All but 10 portraits are in the Roll of Honour. However, the online school list of the War Dead (see References) carries 422 names, 404 of whom have photos.

    Maintenance History
    After WW1 the portrait photographs were displayed in a Corridor of Remembrance. Due to sun damage, the photographs were removed and mounted in a custom made album. This has 6 photographs to a page totaling 38 leaves. A digital copy of the same dimensions and binding is also kept in the library: a smaller copy of the album has been made and is displayed in a case near the original Corridor of Remembrance.
