    • The Scotsman, 18th November 1920 GREENLAW - Greenlaw War Memorial, which was unveiled by Captain CB Balfour, CB, of Newton Don, Lord Lieutenant of Berwickshire, is in the form of a cenotaph, the design being in keeping with the classical architecture of the Town Hall in front of which it stands. It was designed by Mrs du Plat Taylor, Purves, and bears the names of 32 men belonging to the parish who gave their lives in the war.
