Description: Bronze Serviceman on a rough hewn granite plinth and two granite steps. There is a bronze dedication plaque Depicts a border warrior returning home with a captured English banner sometimes known as the Fletcher Memorial. It is said that over seventy men from the town marched to Flodden Field and legend has it that only one survived named Fletcher.
