Description: 20 OTU squadron badge at road junction near RAF Elgin / Bogs O'Mayne. Two plaques underneath.
Inscription: "ROYAL AIR FORCE / 20 / OPERATIONAL TRAINING UNIT / TRAIN TO TRIUMPH" Plaque below "Erected on the site of / R.A.F. Elgin (Bogs of Mayne) / a satellite airfield for No. 20 / O.T.U. Lossiemouth between / 1940 and 1945. Wellington / aircraft used this airfield / for training and also as a / departure point for the / thousand bomber raids / summer 1942. Other aircraft / using the airfield included / Blenheims, Whitleys, / Hurricanes, Lysanders and / Oxford. / The airfield closed in 1946." Small plaque under this "PLAQUE / PRESENTED BY RAF LOSSIEMOUTH / ON / 15TH MAY 1992"
