    Maintenance History
Inscriptions became eroded due to weathering and the softness of the stone. It was felt that re-etching of the names would be detrimental to the integrity of the monument, so rather than re-etching, two stone tablets with the name of the fallen were placed at the base of the memorial in 2008. There is also an additional name not on the original.
