    Description
Family headstone in two parts, consisting of a very large base plinth of an unknown light coloured stone. It is unpolished but has a smooth texture. This plinth angles upwards towards the main headstone and has the lettering 'R.I.P.' affixed to the front of the stone. The main headstone sits on top of this plinth and itself is constructed from polished black granite and is a tall ornamental structure. The central top of which has a peaked central top which has the lower part of this peak cut out and angled towards the front of the stone. On the front of the stone and underneath the central peak is a large etched laurel wreath design with a waved ribbon design extending laterally from the base of the wreath. Underneath this design and within a carved border sits the lettering which has been carved into the stone. At the top left and right of this border there is an etched flower on each side. The front corners of the sides have been cut away on both sides.
