Description: Two-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a two-stage square sectioned plinth and square sectioned tapering obelisk, surrounded by chain link fence within a garden. Incised names on faces of obelisk. Incised inscription on face of plinth. WW2 angled tablet at base of plinth. Informative plaque on a wooden stand in the garden.

History

Maintenance History: 2010: War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £984 towards the steam cleaning of the memorial and an appropriate biocide was then applied to areas affected by biological growths to delay their re-growth. Repairs were also undertaken including raking out by hand and re-pointing all failing and open joints. 2017: Swanbourne Parish Council and Swanbourne Community Association built the new memorial gardens behind the memorial and installed an informative plaque. 2021 Some the memorial is in good condition but sadly most of it is in poor condition - Graham Thorpe Sept 2021
