    Description
    A rough hewn Celtic cross on a tapered plinth and square base upon a grass hillock. Face 1 of the plinth has a smoothly dressed panel with the dedication and names in lead lettering. The memorial is positioned within a semi-circular roadside plot, bounded by box hedging to the rear and a row of eight granite piers linked with iron chains in front.

    TO/ THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF/ ASTON CLINTON/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1919./ (Names)/ 1939- 1945/ (Names)/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS,/ THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."
