Description: Landscape oriented bronze plaque with repoussé inscription and ornamentation, mounted on a green marble backboard. A potent cross sits above the inscription, with the badges of the three military nursing services across the bottom. The simplest of four memorials funded by the Military Nurses' War Memorial Fund (raised by subscriptions) and installed in locations in each of the four Nations to commemorate members of Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service, Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve, and the Territorial Force Nursing Service who lost their lives in the Great War. See WMR 50364 (English Nurses), WMR 43520 (Irish Nurses), and WMR 8786 (Scottish Nurses). The other three were installed in their respective Capital cities.
