Description: Pedimented marble tablet surmounted by a Latin cross which is fouled by an anchor. Coat of arms located beneath the tablet. Tablet and coat of arms mounted onto a backboard.
Inscription: In affectionate Remembrance of/ FRANCIS HOPE TABOR,/ LIEUTENANT ROYAL NAVY;/ WHO WAS DROWNED BY THE CAPSIZING OF/ H.M.S. "EURYDICE"/ OFF DUNNOSE, ISLE OF WIGHT,/ MARCH 24TH 1878/ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE OFFICERS/ OF THE SHIPS IN WHICH HE HAD SERVED.
