    An obelisk on elongated group of granite columns. The platform on top of the columns has a frieze and cornice. There is a dedication tablet (below which is one of the 2 WW2 names tablets), an epitaph tablet (below which is the 2nd of the 2 WW2 names tablets) and 4 WW1 names tablets.

    Tablet 1-MEN OF / HUNTLY / WHO FELL / IN THE / GREAT WAR / 1914-1918 Tablet 2-THEIR LAND / THEY CROWNED / WITH FAME THAT / SHALL NOT DIE / IN DEATH THEY / DIED NOT BEING / RAISED ON HIGH / TO GLORY WITH / THE BRAVE Tablet 3- GORDON HIGHLANDERS/[names of officers and then of privates from Bowman to Chapman] Tablet 4-GORDON HIGHLANDERS/[names of privates from Duncan to Wilson] Tablet 5-[names in various regiments, then in Canadian and Australian forces] Tablet 6-[names in various other regiments, navy and air force] Tablet 7-[on the side of the tablet] 1939/-1945/[names Bain to Johnstone and George Mason] Tablet 8-[on the side of the tablet] 1939/-1945/[names Knight to Wilkie followed by the Matron Elizabeth Thomson] (NAMES ON THE SEPARATE PILLARS)
