    The plaque and Roll of Honour are in the foyer of the Library; the poppy is in a case set into the outside wall of the Library. Winstanley College opened in 1977 in the buildings of the former Up Holland Grammar., Winstanley College, Winstanley Road, Orell, Wigan, Greater Manchester, WN5 7XF, England

    Description
    A wall-mounted, plain brass plaque with incised, black-painted lettering on an oak backboard: the commemoration is above the names which are in two columns. The plaque is set above a glass-topped, oak bookcase containing a Roll of Honour, with a page for each name, and, nearby, set in the wall of the same building, one of Paul Cummins' poppies from the 2014 Great War Centenary art installation at the Tower of London, 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red'.
