The Mayor of Cambridge ceremonially presented the memorial to the Police.
It was erected in the porch of the Police Station, Cambridge Police Station, Hobson House, 42 St Andrews Street, Cambridge, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB2 3AR, England

1960s?
In the late 1960s a new Police Station was built at Parkside, at which time the former Station in St Andrew's Street was vacated. Whether the memorial had remained in place on the original site until that time is unknown; it may have been removed sooner.
