Description: Lancet-shaped niche with sculptured granite Celtic Cross in style of ancient wayside cross set on rectangular plinth on ledge. WW1 inscription on a bronze plaque at the foot of the cross and additional metal plaque for WW2. Whole on massive base fronted by 3 posts and chains.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN PROUD AND/GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THOSE/FROM ST BURYAN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918/(NAMES). THESE ARE THEY WHO FOR GOD AND THEIR COUNTRY JEOPARDED THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH/THEREFORE THEY SHALL BE MINE SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS/IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY JEWELLS./AND/TO THE MEMORY OF THE FALLEN/1939-1945/(NAMES)/THEIR NAME LIVETH FOREVER.
