Description: Celtic cross facing East, on tapering column with ornate Celtic carvings, on a square plinth and two-stepped square base, set on a paved area with an iron fence on three sides. Commemoration and WW1 Names on four sides of plinth: WW2 Names on a separate tablet and the front base. All lettering in black.
Inscription: Plinth, 6 o'clock face: TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND / IN SACRED MEMORY OF THE / MEN OF THE / ANCIENT PARISH OF ST AUSTELL / WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1918/ (WW1 NAMES) Other sides of plinth: (WW1 NAMES) Top step, 6 o'clock: AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE OF THIS AREA / WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR OF / 1939 - 1945 Base Tablet - 1939-1945 / (WW2 NAMES)
