Belfast Telegraph - Tuesday 28 November 1939 DEATH OF GIPSY'S COMMANDER. Lieut-Commander Nigel John Crossley R.N., who commanded H.M.S. GIPSY which struck a mine last Tuesday has died at the age of 35 from injuries received on active service.
