Description: A lancet-arched sandstone headstone with a Latin cross carved on a bed of ivy at its centre. The inscription for the first subject, Frank, appears on this headstone, while that for the other subject, John, appears on a flat tablet set at its foot. This appears to be a modern addition. The inscriptions are incised. CWGC gives the same parents for both.
Inscription: .../ Also of Frank/ who was Killed in Action/ on August 17th 1916/ Aged 30 years./ .../ To the sweet memories of/ L.Cpl. John Harwood/ Who Fell in Action at Ypres Aug 28th 1917/ Aged 22 years/ On whose soul may sweet Jesus have mercy/ ....
