Description: Robed female figure blowing a trumpet with a wreath in her left hand. Standing on a flat topped obelisk on a two stepped circular base surrounded by metal railings. Wreath on the front face of the obelisk and a metal shield towards the bottom.
Inscription: On obelisk: TO OUR/ GLORIOUS/ DEAD/ On 6 o'clock face of plinth: TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND/ IN MEMORY OF/ THOSE FROM SOUTHBANK/ WHO DIED FOR EMPIRE/ IN THE/ GREAT WAR./ 1914-1919./ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN/ THAN THIS."
