    Description
    A large rectangular stone tablet with the college arms, inside a wreath topped with a ribbon, and inscription, flanked by two pairs of square tablets listing names of those alumni who died fighting for the Allies in order of matriculation year. A later addition is a long, horizontal, black, cast bronze plaque mounted on an oak backboard standing on wooden supports on the floor beneath the central tablet commemorating those alumni who died frighting for the German, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman forces.

    On central tablet: 1914 1918/ VIVIT MEMORIA TRECENTORUM/ DOMUS FILIORUM PRO PATRIA/ MILITANTES POSUERUNT VITAM (The memory lives on of the three hundred sons of this house who laid down their lives fighting for their country) On separate plaque below: IN MEMORY OF MEMBERS OF THIS COLLEGE/ CITIZENS OF THE CENTRAL POWERS/ WHO FOUGHT FOR THEIR COUNTIES IN THE WAR 1914 - 1918/ SUNT HIC ETIAM SUA PRAEMIA LAUDI (Here too, the praiseworthy has its rewards)
