Description: Warrant Officers, Senior Rates & SNCO's Mess. Dedication plaque affixed to outside of building, to the right of the entrance. Inscription in relief. Before it's demolition in c2010, the plaque was used to dedicate an accommodation block at HMS Excellent to Edgar Evans (WMR 62635).
Inscription: THIS BUILDING IS NAMED/ IN PROUD AND HONOURED/ MEMORY OF PETTY OFFICER/ EDGAR EVANS/ WHO GAVE HIS LIFE RETURNING/ FROM THE SOUTH POLE/ 17TH FEBRUARY 1912
