Description: Wooden lychgate erected in memory of Gilbert Watson by his father. A dedicatory plaque is mounted on the front roof crossbeam.
Inscription: This Lych Gate was made and erected by/ Albert Watson,/ Wheelwright and Carpenter of Muckton/ in memory of his son/ 95970 Private Gilbert Walter Watson/ of the/ 1st Battalion, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment/ (The Sherwood Foresters)/ who was killed in action on/ 27 May 1918/ at Soissons, France - aged 18 years,/ and who has no known grave.
