    Holy table with dedicatory plaque. The crest of the Royal Engineers is engraved at the top.

    TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF CECIL WALTER BURT ROYAL ENGINEERS THE HOLY TABLE WAS PLACED / IN THIS CHURCH. HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE SEPTEMBER 25TH 1915 AGED 28 YEARS
