    Description
Large rectangular printed Roll of Honour (which is now unframed), at the top of which is the Bradford City crest flanked by two pairs of Allied nations' flags (those of Britain and France, and of Belgium and Russia). Beneath the dedicatory inscription, the names of Bradford City Police officers who enlisted in WW1 and the military units in which they served are listed in two columns. Those who were killed in action or died in military service are annotated on the Roll with an asterisk. (N.B. There are some discrepancies between the information on this Roll of Honour and the details of casualties recorded on the Bradford City Police WW1/WW2 Memorial Board - for which see our record 89435: some officers who were listed on the Roll of Honour as having died in WW1 were omitted from the Board, and some officers listed on the Board as having died in WW1 were omitted from the Roll of Honour of those who had enlisted).
