    Description
    Black marble tablet with whitened incised inscription set on a sloping Portland stone base. Among a group of small plaques and tablets installed to the north of the Manchester Cenotaph (WMR 2024). The stone was originally sited within the Manchester Peace Garden (WMR 100972) in St Peter's Square, but was removed as part of the 2013/14 project to reconfigure the Square. Being associated with military veterans, it was eventually installed in the group by the Cenotaph in 2017.
